Toronto: Franchitti tops opening practice

On a hot humid day in Toronto, Dario Franchitti led a Honda 1-2-3 sweep of the opening practice session for the Honda Indy Toronto race on the 1.76-mile 11-turn street circuit at Exhibition Place.

Franchitti's Target Chip Ganassi teammate Scott Dixon was 2nd fastest. Rookie sensation Simon Pagenaud was 3rd quick.

Tony Kanaan led a contingent of six Chevys in fourth with E.J. Viso rounding out the top-5.
