Milwaukee no where near what it was

A reader writes, Dear AR1.com, I stumbled across this video of the 1996 Milwaukee 200 CART IndyCar race. Look how many people were there. Every grandstand seat was taken and the infield was packed. Tony George had a better idea alright. What was so bad about CART back then? Look at all the big sponsors on the cars I cry when I see stuff like this and compare it to the crowd at Milwaukee Saturday. Every time I think about what Tony George and the other minions that supported him did I nearly lose it. Also note the track was two grooves back then. Not so now with that new patch of asphalt in the lower groove of the turns now. They ruined the track. And Paul Page was a great announcer. Andrea Jacobs
