Servia gets engine penalty

Oriol Servia has been issued with a 10-place grid penalty for this weekend's IndyCar race at Barber Motorsports Park following an unauthorized engine change.

The Dreyer & Reinbold team changed the Lotus unit in the Spaniard's car after Friday's second practice session, although it was not immediately clear whether it change was precautionary or due to a failure.

Rule 15.6.1 of IndyCar's sporting regulations prevent unapproved engine changes except in the event of an engine failure.
