Kiwi IndyCar star Scott Dixon has decided to pull out of the V8 Supercars Gold Coast 600 and will be replaced by five time LeMans 24 Hour race winner Emanuele Pirro as Shane van Gisbergen's co driver. Dixon will put the birth of his second child over a Gold Coast 600 drive.
