NASCAR Texas TV Rating

UPDATE The NASCAR Sprint Cup Samsung Mobile 500 4/9 on Fox earned a 4.0 final TV Rating with 7.036M viewers tuned in. This is down from previous years – more later.

04/11/11 The overnight TV rating for Saturday night's Samsung Mobile 500 at Texas Motor Speedway on FOX was a 3.7. While last year was a rainout, the 3.7 is down from the 4.2 (-12%), 4.7 (-21.3%) and 5.4 (-31.5%) overnight ratings in 2009, 2008 and 2007 respectively. The trend is worrisome for NASCAR.
