Skip Barber Champ Ashley Freiberg Completes USF2000 Test

Ashley Freiberg, winner of two Skip Barber Series championships in 2010, completed a day of testing in an USF200 National Championship race car for Andretti Autosport on Monday, Oct. 18.

Freiberg, an 18-year-old driver from Homer Glen, Ill., ran 146 laps, or about 248 miles, at Putnam Park Road Course in Putnamville, Ind. Despite cold and wet track conditions, she only had one spin during the course of the testing day.

Putnam Park Road Course is a 1.78-mile, 10-turn road course. The facility opened in 1991 and regularly serves as a testing course for many professional race teams.
