Korean GP will happen

There should be no worries over this year's inaugural Grand Prix, GPUpdate.net was told on Wednesday morning, despite the current tense relationship between North and South Korea.

With North Korea having severed ties and ceased trading with South Korea, home of the October race at the Korean International Circuit, some fear that the event could be affected although Race Organizers KAVO (Korea Auto Valley Operation) have ensured that the Grand Prix will run smoothly.

"110 percent sure that we will have an F1 race this year in Korea," a KAVO spokesperson told GPUpdate.net. "Do not worry. We have had worse situations in the past and have wisely dealt with matters as such.
