Wind Tunnel Sunday

Robin Miller will be hosting this edition of Wind Tunnel as Dave Despain will be on vacation this coming Sunday. This will be Robin’s first time being the host. He has co-hosted the show more than any other guest.

We’ve lost our minds and put Robin Miller in charge of this Sunday’s show! For the first time, Robin will be calling the shots on Wind Tunnel and who knows how that’s going to turn out!

Featured Interview A.J. Foyt (4-time Indy 500 Winner)

4-time Indy 500 winner and 7-time USAC champion, A.J. Foyt, will be making his first appearance on Wind Tunnel this Sunday October 4th.

Recognized as one of the best and most versatile racers in motorsports history, Foyt, not only won Indy 4 times (1 of 3 drivers who have done so) but he also won the most prestigious sports car races in the world…the 24 Hours of Le Mans, 24 Hours of Daytona, and 12 Hours of Sebring. On top of that, he claimed victory in the crown jewel of stock car racing…the Daytona 500.

On Sunday night, A.J. will join Robin on the show to talk about his incredible career and talk about his current role as an IndyCar team owner.

Featured Interview Gene Romero (Former AMA Grand National Motorcycle Champion and Daytona 200 Winner)

Former AMA Grand National motorcycle racing champion, Gene Romero, will also be a featured guest on Wind Tunnel this Sunday. Romero, who won numerous races on dirt ovals and a championship in 1970, also won on pavement…capturing the prestigious Daytona 200 in 1975. But his heart remained in dirt racing and in 1998, he formed the West Coast Flat Track Series which is currently preparing for their season finale at The Fairplex in Pomona, CA later this month…the venue’s first race in a decade.

We’ll talk to Gene about his career and his efforts to keep flat track motorcycle racing alive and well.
