Same number of races for NASCAR in 2010

NASCAR’s top three series will “maintain the same number of races in their respective 2010 schedules," according to the Charlotte Observer. Sources said that the Sprint Cup Series will have 36 races, while the Nationwide Series will have 35 and the Camping World Truck Series will have 25. One of the “likely changes in the 2010 Cup schedule is a move of the first Dover race from the week after the Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway to the week prior" to the All-Star Race. Sources said that the move “isn’t expected to be permanent, but was made because next May has five weekends"
