‘Duck’s beak’ for revised Red Bull – Vettel

Revised Red Bull will look very different

(GMM) Red Bull's 2009 car is so heavily modified for the British grand prix that it will look visibly different when it hits the Silverstone circuit on Friday.

The new parts are yet to arrive from the Austrian team's nearby Milton-Keynes base, but Sebastian Vettel revealed that the new nose resembles a "duck's beak".

Germany's Auto Motor und Sport said the modified front of the RB5 is significantly wider, while Adrian Newey has also worked on an improved iteration of the double diffuser.

"From the simulation numbers in the wind tunnel it looks not bad," Vettel, 21, said of the sweeping bodywork upgrade, said to also include new front and rear wings.

Mark Webber said: "Silverstone should be the ideal track for our car."
