Another FIA penalty for Lewis Hamilton

(GMM) On top of Lewis Hamilton's stewards woes, the FIA officials imposed on the reigning world champion yet another penalty on Friday. At ten minutes to 11am, the McLaren driver went over the pitlane speed limit by 5.3kmh in initial practice, costing him 1,200 euros.

Interestingly, stewards decisions are usually signed off by McLaren's sporting director Dave Ryan, but the New Zealander veteran was seen departing the Sepang circuit on Friday.

The speed infraction was instead signed by Peter Vale.

BMW-Sauber has informed the FIA it intends to support the appeal of Red Bull, Renault and Ferrari at the forthcoming Court of Appeal hearing. BMW's protest in Australia was rejected on a technicality.

Having won the Australian grand prix, Brawn driver Jenson Button is now sporting a button-shaped tattoo on the inside of his right arm.
