Project LMP1 special to be shown on SPEED

UPDATE A reminder that this outstanding documentary, “Project LMP1: Acura’s Next Challenge" will be replayed tonight, Thursday, March 19, at 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm ET on SPEED. It will immediately follow the live broadcast, “American LeMans Series: A look at 2009," from Sebring International Raceway at 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm ET which will preview the 12 Hours of Sebring.

Project LMP1: Acura’s Next Challenge

2009 marks Acura’s third year of competition in the American Le Mans Series. Founded in 1999, ALMS includes four classes of vehicles competing to finish the longest distance within a specified period of time. This season, Acura advances to the most powerful category of ALMS competition by entering two new ARX-02a cars in the LMP1 class, while continuing to compete in the LMP2 category.
