Empress Casino packages available for NASCAR weekend

The 2009 NASCAR season is underway, and it’s time for race fans to make their reservations in Joliet to see their favorite drivers trade paint at the Chicagoland Speedway.

Empress Casino Joliet, just minutes from the Speedway, is offering a series of NASCAR Packages, including a top-end offering for two with accommodations at the casino hotel for two nights, dinner at Alex steakhouse, race tickets and transportation to and from the speedway.

Race weekend for the LifeLock.com 400 (formerly the Chicagoland 400) takes place at Chicagoland Speedway, July 9-12. The Nationwide series race will be held on Friday evening and the LifeLock.com 400 will be held under the lights for the first time on Saturday night (July 11). The track is a 15-minute drive from Empress. Major NASCAR stars expected to participate include: Kyle Busch, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson and Tony Stewart.
