Invoice is not paid: A1GP cars still in Malaysia

It is just eight days before the A1GP season opener in New Zealand and the A1GP cars are still in Malaysia. Is the Race in Taupo, New Zealand at risk?

According to reports, the invoice was not paid by either A1GP or the race promoter to the carrier and hence they will not ship the cars. A spokeswoman for the racing series has confirmed these facts, but A1GP CEO Pete da Silva could not been reached for comment.

Whether the race in Taupo will be held as scheduled, at the moment one can only speculate. At least the cars are in Malaysia and not in completely different ends of the world.
