Hyundai Genesis raises eyebrows

The 16th annual North American Car of the Year jury announced the Hyundai Genesis as one of the three finalists in its annual quest to name the most outstanding and significant new car. Hyundai's flagship vehicle bested competitors such as Nissan GT-R, Audi A4, Dodge Challenger and BMW 1-Series for this year's awards competition. (See video – Home Page)

The finalists for the 2009 North American Car of the Year honors are the Ford Flex, Hyundai Genesis and Volkswagen Jetta TDI. Finalists for the 2009 North American Truck of the Year award are the Dodge Ram, Ford F-150 and the Mercedes-Benz ML320 BlueTEC.
