ROC signs up Jason Plato

British Touring Car Championship ace, Jason Plato, has become the fourth British driver to be confirmed for this Sunday’s Race of Champions at Wembley Stadium. Plato, BTCC Champion with Vauxhall in 2001, finished third in this year’s championship with SEAT and has always been a crowd favorite thanks to his ‘no-holds-barred’ style of racing and his regular spot as a presenter of the popular motoring TV show, Fifth Gear. “I’m over the moon to be taking part in The Race of Champions," beamed Plato. “I was asked to compete a few years ago and couldn’t because I was on my honeymoon at the time! But I’ve followed the event over the years, watching it on television, and I’ve always wanted to do it.
