Talladega TV Rating

UPDATE ABC earned a final 4.6 national rating for its live telecast of the AMP Energy 500 Sprint Cup race from Talladega Superspeedway, the same rating as was earned by last year’s race telecast, also on ABC. The race averaged 7,439,614 viewers. The race earned ABC’s highest rating so far this season and matched its highest rating from 2007. The network is televising all 10 races in the Chase for the Sprint Cup.

10/06/08 The overnight TV rating for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Amp Energy 500 from Talladega Sunday on ABC was a 4.0, down 4.8% from last year's 4.2 over night and down 7% from the 4.3 overnight in 2006.
