Dover signs sponsor for fall Cup race

The world’s largest retailer of recreational vehicles and the world’s fastest one-mile oval have entered into a multi-year agreement that includes entitlement for the upcoming Sept. 21, 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Dover International Speedway, now known as the "Camping World 400." The new partnership expands Camping World’s increased involvement in NASCAR to include one of the toughest and most unpredictable races in the 10-race championship playoffs.

"Sponsorship of the Camping World 400 Sprint Cup race and the year-round partnership with Dover International Speedway compliments our growing NASCAR program," said Marcus Lemonis, chairman and CEO of Camping World. "The Dover fan base includes one of the largest weekend RV communities on the circuit and we are looking forward to helping enhance their weekend camping and racing experience."

"This sponsorship program will assist us in introducing our brand to the outdoor enthusiasts in the area which is important to us as our future plans include opening a permanent Camping World store in close proximity to the Speedway," added Lemonis.
