PCM to be featured on tonight’s episode of “Modern Marvels”

Pacific Coast Motorsports will be featured on tonight’s episode of The History Channel’s hit show “Modern Marvels" tonight at 9:00 pm ET.

The episode, titled “Crashes" takes an in-depth look at the safety innovations in Open-Wheel racing. Filmed at the Champ Car finale at the 2008 Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, the episode prominently features the Pacific Coast Motorsports teams and partners, and includes interviews with PCM Team Owner Tyler Tadevic, PCM IndyCar driver Mario Dominguez and PCM Atlantic driver Frankie Muniz.

“Modern Marvels’ is a terrific show that explains in layman’s terms the technologies behind many of today’s achievements," said PCM Team Owner, Tyler Tadevic. “This is our second time featured on “Modern Marvels" this year, and we are very proud to be part of their program. The “Carbon" episode was fascinating, and we are looking forward to tonight’s show. We’re always looking for ways to reach out to the non-motorsports media, and this exposure is extremely beneficial for our partners, our team and our athletes."

Racetrack safety is also highlighted in the episode. The “Modern Marvels" crew sat down with Long Beach President and CEO Jim Michaelian and Lon Bromley from the Champ Car Safety Team to discuss the latest developments in race circuit safety.
