Buddy Rice on Watkins Glen track chat
06/23/08 Watkins Glen International will continue the live driver chats on the WGI Fan Talk Forum on Wednesday, June 25th and will welcome a winner of “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing". 2004 Indianapolis 500 champion Buddy Rice will be this week’s featured guest and will be available for fans questions from 7:30 PM – 8:00 PM.
The live chat is open to all race fans that are registered on the WGI Fan Talk Forum. The 30-minute live chats will be held every Wednesday at 7:30 PM leading up to the Camping World Grand Prix at The Glen. Andretti Green Racing driver Tony Kanaan is confirmed for the final live chat on Wednesday, July 2nd.
Buddy Rice began his career in the IndyCar Series in 2002 and quickly became one of the most consistent drivers in the series. He won the 2004 Indianapolis 500 from the pole for his first career IndyCar Series victory, and used that result to help finish a career best third in the overall season standings. Rice has competed in all three IndyCar Series events at The Glen; placing 19th in 2005, 4th in 2006 and 6th in 2007. This year, he is driving the #15 Dreyer & Reinbold Racing Honda Dallara during the Camping World Grand Prix at The Glen weekend, July 4-6.
