NASCAR Family Fun Day at Pocono

On Saturday, August 2, the Pocono Mountains will host the 2nd annual NASCAR Family Fun Day. The event is being held to show the NASCAR Sprint Cup Family the appreciation of the Pocono Community for the tremendous economic impact of Pocono Raceway’s NASCAR Sprint Cup events.

The invitees include all NASCAR Officials, Owners, Drivers, Team Members of Sprint Cup Teams, & their Families. Scheduled activities for the fun-filled day will include a trip to Camelbeach, discounted shopping at The Crossings Premium Outlets, and numerous activities at The Inn at Pocono Manor, all free of charge. The NASCAR Family Fun Day would not be the successful endeavor that it is without the generous contributions from sponsors such as Pennoni Associates, Inc., The Crossings Premium Outlets, Camelbeach, The Inn at Pocono Manor, Davis R. Chant Realtors, Martz Trailways Group, and the Pocono Mountains Visitor’s Bureau.

In addition to providing a day of fun for the people that make Pocono’s Sprint Cup event possible, proceeds from the event will be donated to the most worthwhile charity, the Victory Junction Gang Camp. The Victory Junction Gang Camp was founded by Kyle and Pattie Petty in honor of their late son, Adam. The camp’s mission is to enrich the lives of children suffering from chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses by provided life-changing camping experiences, that are exciting, fun, and empowering, in a safe and medically sound environment.
