(GMM) Ferrari removed their usual front wheel covers ahead of the Canadian grand prix, it has emerged.
The aerodynamic devices were reportedly causing heat to build up in the F2008's brakes, which are tested to the limit on the arduous Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.
Ferrari boss Stefano Domenicali confirmed the news but insists that "many cars" had problems with the brakes in Canada this weekend.
