Minogue plays down Hamilton romance

(GMM) Australian pop singer and TV personality Dannii Minogue on Tuesday played down reports that she is romantically involved with McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton.

The 36-year-old was engaged to Jacques Villeneuve in his BAR-Honda days, and it is now reported that Minogue has been invited on a 'date' with Briton Hamilton, 23, during the forthcoming Monaco GP weekend.

But she insists: "I don't fancy him, no."

Minogue confirmed that, since meeting Hamilton in Melbourne in March, they have been "texting" each other and arranged to meet up at Monte Carlo.

"So if that's a date, then we're going on a date," she added.
