Helmet slap for Marty Roth

He didn’t hurt driver Marty Roth, but Simon Morley sure got his message across. Morley, the right-front tire changer and crew chief for Tomas Scheckter, slapped Roth across the helmet as Roth’s car was getting pushed to his pit stall after Roth lost control on pit lane and slid into the back of Morley.

Morley was hit by Roth’s wing but was uninjured and continued the pit stop. Roth, who was held on pit road after the incident, retired after 41 laps.
