Heidfeld leads practice 3 – Spain
Nick Heidfeld put his BMW atop the final practice session timesheets Saturday morning. The German leapt from 19th position to first when he switched to the softer Bridgestone tires for his final run.
David Coulthard took second for Red Bull, ahead of Renault's Fernando Alonso in front of his Spanish fans.
Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen were only ninth and 13th in the Ferraris, while McLaren teammates Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen ended the morning 11th and 15th respectively, both teams testing on heavier fuel loads.
