Penalty for  Antinucci

Richard Antinucci, a nephew of former Indy 500 winner and Formula One driver Eddie Cheever, won Sunday's 40-lap Indy Lights race after taking out front-running Ana Beatriz with seven laps remaining.

"I feel sorry for Bea," said Antinucci, who was penalized 10 championship points. "I want to apologize to her, and I feel it's absolutely a racing incident."

Beatriz, after finishing third Saturday in the first of the weekend's two Lights races, made a major mistake after being spun out by Antinucci. She pulled into oncoming traffic and collected the No. 43 car of Pablo Donoso.
