Dakar Rally organizers today announced that Argentina and Chile will host the race in ’09, after this year’s event was canceled due “to fears of terrorism in Africa." The race will begin in Buenos Aires on January 2 and finish in the city on January 18. The race’s route will be unveiled tomorrow.
