Howard Gilbert dies

Very sad news to report that Indy 500 engine builder Howard Gilbert, who built winning engines for the likes of AJ Foyt and other greats, passed away this morning about 4:30am. The funeral plans are forthcoming, but the burial will be at Rose Hills in Whittier at the internment site where his wife Rosalie is buried. As soon as we have more information we will let you know.
