Force India to name drivers on January 11

(GMM) Force India has scheduled to announce its full driver lineup for the 2008 season on January 11, reports from India on Sunday said.

The Silverstone based team, recently acquired by Vijay Mallya and the Dutch Mol family, had been expected to make its decision about the occupants of its cars before Christmas or in the opening days of the new year.

But with Giancarlo Fisichella, Roldan Rodriguez, Christian Klien, Vitantonio Liuzzi and others seemingly still in the running for the vacant seat opposite Adrian Sutil, it is believed Mallya's final selection was delayed.

The Indian national newspaper The Hindu said Force India will announce the 2008 driver lineup in Mumbai, the world's most populous city.
