IRL reaping huge benefits from Castroneves

Helio Castroneves received a few surprises during Week 7 of "Dancing with the Stars."

First was a video message of encouragement from his parents in Brazil that brought a tear to his eye. Second was the ecstatic reception he received during a "campaign stop" in Indianapolis on Nov. 2. And during the live competition show Nov. 5 on ABC, supporting the two-time Indianapolis 500 champion and dance partner Julianne Hough in the audience were Penske Racing teammate Sam Hornish Jr. and wife Crystal, motorsports director of Firestone Al Speyer and Indy Racing League president of competition and operations Brian Barnhart.

Not necessarily surprising were the scores from the three-judge panel for the steamy Tango and upbeat Samba: 52 total (of 60). More at IndyCar.com
