Video: Racecar Drivers Work Out, Both On and Off the Track

To remain a viable contender on the track, racecar drivers must work out outside of their competitive circuits. General Motors (GM) reports drivers like Oliver Gavin and Johnny O’Connell participate in exercises designed to stimulate both their bodies and their minds. Gavin, a four-time GT class champion at the 24-hour of Le Mans, runs marathons. O’Connell, the driver with the highest number of Top 5 finishes on the American Le Mans Series, trains in karate.
