No rain expected at sunny Monza

(GMM) Rain was a persistent irritant at the Monza test last week, but the skies at the Autodromo Nazionale near Milan are expected to be clear at the circuit throughout the Italian grand prix this weekend.

Teams had to invoke the 'Rain Day' clause in the testing agreement to add a fourth day to the disrupted session last week, but Italy on Thursday turned on perfect, warm weather with only a flicker of cloud and a wisp of wind.

More sunny conditions are forecast for Friday through to the race on Sunday, with local meteorologists saying the chance of any rain whatsoever is very remote.
