Teams add fourth day to Monza test

(GMM) Many formula one teams have already committed to returning to the Monza circuit for a fourth unscheduled test day on Friday.

Some visitors to the Italian region for the pre-Italian grand prix test early on Thursday morning were awoken by a heavy downpour of rain, and conditions did not improve by the time the pitlane opened for what was supposed to be the last of a three day test.

It was earlier reported that Ferrari, Honda and McLaren had already decided to extend the test for a fourth day no matter whether conditions improved on Thursday.

It is now understood that BMW-Sauber will definitely also join the aforementioned three on Friday, and possibly also Toyota and others.
