Already 50.000 tickets sold for Belgian Grand Prix

One month before the Belgian Grand Prix at the renewed circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, there are already 50.000 tickets sold. "We received orders from 45 countries, even Namibia," declared organizer André Maes.

In the Belgian newspaper 'Gazet van Antwerpen', Bernie Ecclestone said: "Why would we say goodbye to Spa? Now there has been invested so much money, there is a super circuit. We are going to a lot of new places, but beside that we want to maintain the traditional circuits. Francorchamps remains a spectacular track, totally different than the modern circuits. Thanks to the conducted works, Spa has been lifted to a higher level."
