Bernie reveals $6000 F1 book
(GMM) F1's billionaire chief executive Bernie Ecclestone at Silverstone revealed the epic 'Opus' — a highly-exclusive 37kg official book about formula one history.
It measures a half-meter square, took two years to put together and is presented in a clamshell box made of carbon fibre — for the whopping price of (US) $6000.
100 copies, topping the scales at the outlandish price of $40,000, have been personally signed by every living world champion.
"As a document it is unparalleled," Ecclestone said.
"It is a must have for anyone who lives formula one."
