MUZIK Gears Up for the Grand Prix Drivers’ Party

Stars from the racing and entertainment worlds will come together this Friday, July 6 at MUZIK for the Grand Prix of Toronto Drivers' Party. Pegged as the most anticipated party of the summer, the annual event plays host to an action-packed racing experience with Champ Car World Series drivers, celebrities, show cars and other surprises. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the extended party runs through to 4 a.m. Funds raised will support local children's charities through the Grand Prix of Toronto Charitable Foundation.

VIP booths with name recognition are available by reservation only and include: 20 tickets, designated hostess, Belvedere Vodka, MUZIK garden maki, fine food by Pusateri's and deserts by David's. Since last year's Grand Prix of Toronto Drivers' Party, MUZIK has established itself as the ultimate destination for the Toronto and Hollywood elite, entertaining the likes of Samuel L. Jackson, Carmen Electra, Christina Ricci and Nickelback. Some events that MUZIK has hosted include L'Oreal Fashion week (2005 and 2006), the AGO Massive Party, The Audi Q7 Launch, The Red Party (Toronto Raptors) and the official press conference for FIFA. This year's Grand Prix of Toronto Drivers' Party promises to be even more exciting as MUZIK hosts the regional qualifying event for Miss Universe Canada 2008.

As one of Canada's premier sporting events of the year and the 'crown jewel' of the Champ Car World Series, the Steelback Grand Prix of Toronto is renowned for its week-long schedule of charitable events leading up to race weekend. To date, the Grand Prix Charitable Foundation has raised more that $5.5 million for local charities.
