PCM and Motorsport Simulators Announce Partnership

Pacific Coast Motorsports, competitors in the Champ Car World Series, are pleased to welcome Motorsport Simulators LLC as an associate partner to the team.

Based in Valley View, Texas, Motorsport Simulators design and build professional race car simulators specific to their clients’ requirements. Combining efforts with PCM, Motorsport Simulators has created the most authentic Champ Car simulation available. Using actual data from the brand new DP01 Champ Car, PCM rookies Alex Figge and Ryan Dalziel are able to prepare for competition well before the race event occurs.

“We are pleased to welcome Motorsport Simulators to PCM and to the Champ Car paddock," commented PCM team director, Tyler Tadevic. “As a rookie team in Champ Car with rookie Champ Car drivers, engineers who are new to Champ Car and a brand new car, the simulator has become an instrumental element of our drivers required year-around training program. These simulators are unbelievably realistic and are a phenomenal training tool for our athletes and engineers."

Motorsport Simulators owner Mark Nixon commented, "It is exciting to have such a collaborative partner as Pacific Coast Motorsports which shares our vision towards using race car simulators for driver training. Achieving and maintaining competitive advantage is the life blood for any professional race team and Pacific Coast Motorsports is one of the forward thinking, innovative Champ Car teams which believe simulators are the future."

Motorsport Simulators will be providing trackside support for Pacific Coast Motorsports at several of the remaining events on the 2007 Champ Car World Series schedule, including this weekend’s Steelback Grand Prix of Toronto. Drivers, media and members of the Champ Car paddock are encouraged to stop by Motorsport Simulators located at the Pacific Coast Motorsports corporate hospitality unit.
