Ferrari to use new parts, engine, in UK

(GMM) Kimi Raikkonen says his winning Ferrari could be even quicker for the weekend's British grand prix.

The Finn and his teammate Felipe Massa dominated at Magny Cours last weekend, mere days ahead of the second leg of the double header at Silverstone.

Prior to France, the Maranello built F2007 was also clearly the quickest car at the Silverstone test — where a raft of new parts were tried ahead of their debut at round 9.

"We were not able to get all of the parts here (at Magny Cours) so that should help us," Kimi said last week.

La Gazzetta dello Sport also reports that, although constrained by the 'engine freeze' rules, a significant upgrade for Ferrari's V8 power plant is expected in the UK.

Raikkonen added: "The weather there can be very tricky but we go there trying to do the best and hopefully win."
