Ferrari FXX Millechili Eco-Car

Ferrari recently unveiled its first eco supercar. The Ferrari FXX Millechili looks exactly like a sized down Enzo and as we see with the new proposed FIA regulations for F1, the idea is to downsize with a smaller engine.

The eco Ferrari is made out of cardboard, plastic and… paper wheels. So you guessed it, it's not driveable. The Ferrari FXX Millechili looks like it can hold a V8 or a V12 engine and design wise, in out opinion, looks better than the original Enzo.

Some Ferrari insiders called it Millechili which means 1000 kg, probably the weight of the car. The Ferrari FXX Millechili is much smaller than the original Enzo. It has a 237.99 cm wheelbase and the distance between the node and the top of the windshield is 264.92 cm. The weight of the Ferrari FXX Millechili is 365kg smaller. A lighter car requires smaller breaks and lighter suspensions which improves on handling.

"The world is changing, and Ferrari is changing too. The aim is to lose no performance, but to make lighter, more efficient cars." said a spokesman.

General manager Amedeo Felisa said that Ferrari had to react to the need of fuel economy and emissions, especially in Europe and the US. He said that all future Ferraris will focus on fuel economy as much as power to weight ratios and driving dynamics.
