Coulthard slams Ralf over Indy incident
(GMM) David Coulthard has slammed fellow F1 veteran Ralf Schumacher following their first-corner clash at the US grand prix two weeks ago.
Red Bull's Scottish driver said he was "irritated" after the German refused to publicly accept the blame for punting him out of the race at Indy.
"He apologized (to me) and said he wasn't sure but he maybe hadn't got his tires or brakes up to temperature and he'd locked up," Coulthard wrote in his column for ITV.
But Coulthard claims that Toyota's Schumacher then told the media that he wasn't sure who was to blame.
He said: "It hacks me off when people aren't man enough to say the same thing to your face as they say when you're not there."
