Harvick announces primary sponsorship for ’08

Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) announced today that they have extended their partnership with Camping World. The Bowling Green, Ky. based company will be the primary sponsor on the No. 33 NASCAR Truck Series entry, driven by two-time Truck Series champion Ron Hornaday, for the 2008 season.

“It is always important to have sponsors that are behind your programs, and Camping World has supported KHI this season in both the Truck and Busch Series," said Kevin Harvick, co-owner of KHI. “They share the same passion and dedication for this sport that we do and I can't think of a better partner for Ron Hornaday and the No. 33 Truck Series team. DeLana and I are thrilled they have decided to continue their partnership with KHI in 2008."

So far this season Ron Hornaday has amassed two wins (Charlotte and Dover) in the Truck Series, extending his career total, along with the all-time series record for victories to 31. Not only was Dover (Del.) his second win of the season, but it also represented a second milestone win in his career as the Truck Series celebrated its 300th race on June 1, 2007. Hornaday scored his first milestone win at the 100th Truck Series race at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, Washington on April 3, 1999.

"Camping World has been very supportive since signing on with my No. 33 Chevrolet Silverado team this year," said driver Ron Hornaday. “I am very excited to know that they are so confident in our abilities here at KHI that they are ready to commit to the 2008 season. That says a lot. Now I can just focus on going out there and winning the NASCAR Truck Series championship this season."
