Indy 500 drops to No. 33

As their TV provider ABC and ESPN are supposed to be partners with the IRL. According to this ESPN article the Indy 500, under IRL leadership, is now only the 33rd out of 100 must-see sporting events according to the opinion of this article's author. The continued split in open wheel racing is driving it's greatest asset, the Indy 500, lower and lower in the eyes of the world, an opinion now viewed by many.
