Jones replaces Reutimann

Add David Reutimann to the list of Michael Waltrip Racing drivers who will skip next weekend’s Nextel Cup Series road course race at Sonoma, Calif. Team owner and driver Michael Waltrip announced last week he would step out of the road course events at Sonoma and Watkins Glen, N.Y., instead using two-time Nextel Cup champion Terry Labonte in both events. On Saturday, MWR officials announced road-racing ace P.J. Jones will take over the driving duties for Reutimann’s No. 00 Toyota at Sonoma.
