Ferrari duo disappointed with pace

(GMM) Ferrari drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa on Saturday admitted to being simply outpaced by McLaren so far ahead of the Canadian grand prix.

The pair will line up on Sunday's Montreal grid just fourth and fifth, although Raikkonen said he hopes that the third placed Nick Heidfeld's BMW-Sauber is simply light on fuel.

"You never know exactly with the (different) strategies," said the Finn, the quickest of the red cars, "but (the McLarens) were even a little bit quicker maybe than we expected."

A disappointed Massa, meanwhile – who may even be running a lighter fuel load than his teammate, despite his slower pace – agreed: "Definitely today McLaren was quicker than us.

"It's not really what we expected for the qualifying, so hopefully we can do something different for the race."
