F1 priest’s car-dodging days are over

(GMM) F1's twenty two drivers can rest easy — 'dancing priest' Cornelius Horan says his grand prix car-dodging days are over.

The 60-year-old, who also ruined the 2004 Olympic marathon in Greece by lunging at the leader, was this week banned from sporting events by a magistrate in south London — under threat of a five year prison term.

Horan, who ran onto the track during the British grand prix in 2003, told the court that he would be "very happy" to comply because his F1 and marathon stunts had twice put the Bible "on the world stage".

"That's enough," he added. "There is no need to break the rules (any more). I'm happy to move on."
