As the winner of last year’s sweepstakes, Pomerantz will be flown to Munich for a tour of the Audi factory in Ingolstadt, Germany. He will be given the use of a brand new Audi as personal transportation while in Europe with his final destination as Le Mans. There he will be the VIP guest of Panoz for the 75th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the world's most famous auto race.
“I’m definitely looking forward to the Audi Factory tour," said Pomerantz. Owner of a 2001 Audi A4, Pomerantz requests that the Audi he will be driving while in Europe has a manual transmission. He plans to savor all the area offers, including Germany’s Autobahn and France’s Champagne region, famous for its wine and champagne production.
After attending American Le Mans Series races at Miami and Mid-Ohio, and Formula 1 at Montreal, the Ohio native is excited about crossing the pond and being a part of the crown jewel of sports car racing.
He said he has always been impressed by the amount of access Series fans have at races. “I enjoy being a spectator that has paddock access. I hope for even more interaction with the drivers at Le Mans," said Pomerantz.
