PCM announces new sponsor

Oxnard, CA – Pacific Coast Motorsports is pleased to announce their partnership with Molecule Labs. Based in Benicia, California, The Molecule™ Technical Fabric Care System cleans, protects and refreshes Nomex® fabric to ensure safety and comfort.

Alex Figge’s #29 Champ Car will carry primary Molecule livery this weekend at the Mazda Champ Car Grand Prix of Portland Presented by Joe’s. Both PCM entries will carry the Molecule branding at the associate level throughout the rest of the 2007 Champ Car World Series season. “We are pleased to welcome Molecule to the Pacific Coast Motorsports organization and the Champ Car World Series. Safety is the byline of our company and the fire suit is one of the most important elements in our safety efforts," commented team director, Tyler Tadevic.

Liquids such as oils and fuel used by mechanics in addition to the chemicals used in dry-cleaning adversely affect the thermal protective performance in garments, leaving crews and drivers susceptible to burns and injury. “In just three races it became apparent that our suits had become less effective. Since applying the Molecule treatment the liquids literally bead off the suit and the suits look brand new. Michael Guasch has developed a unique product that will enhance the safety and comfort of our crew and drivers, the entire PCM crew will be protected by Molecule. We hope our partnership will lead the rest of the racing community to protect their team with Molecule," said Tadevic.

“This is an important step for Molecule," said Guasch. “We’ve spent a lot of time developing our fire suit care and safety products to serve and support the finest racing teams and series, and with our partnership with PCM, we’re proud to have Molecule associated with such a professional and dynamic organization."
