Dumas and Penske aiming for 3-in-row
“It’s not an easy track," the French Porsche factory pilot said. “You have to be used to the track in order to be quick. It’s good to be back to a normal track and not a (street) track. Hopefully it will be good for us."
The 2007 season sees Dumas and Timo Bernhard teaming for the third straight season. After winning four times for Alex Job Racing in 2005, Dumas and Bernhard have spent the last two seasons with Penske Motorsports. The results have been stellar: four GT2 wins with AJR in 2005 and four LMP2 victories – including three overall race wins – with Penske in the past two seasons.
“We have a lot of advantages because we are the same size and weight," Dumas said. “We have nearly the same driving style. He is a little less aggressive than me but it works well. We have won a lot of races together and it is working very well."
