Paul Ricard Day 2: Hamilton again fastest

Lewis Hamilton was again fastest in F1 testing at Paul Ricard. Day two of the Paul Ricard test saw Champ Car star Sebastien Bourdais take over the wheel of the Toro Rosso Ferrari from Scott Speed.

Bourdais completed 142 laps of the 2D short 3.593 km circuit aimed to replicate the characteristics of the Monaco Grand Prix circuit. Bourdais' best lap was a 1:07.743s. The program consisted of evaluating Bridgestone Potenza tire compounds and doing long runs, while also evaluating a couple of new aerodynamic and mechanical components.

Tomorrow, all the teams switch to a longer configuration of the Paul Ricard circuit in order to simulate the Montreal track for the Canadian Grand Prix. Speed will be driving the Toro Rosso.
