Two titles will make me Nico, says Rosberg

(GMM) Nico Rosberg says only significant success will destroy the stigma of always being referred to as "Keke's boy".

Williams' current race driver is the son of 1982 world champion Keke Rosberg; a description that has stuck with German-born Nico ever since he first tested a formula one car as a teenager.

"Everyone still sees me as Keke's son and I can't see it changing any time soon," he said in an interview with the Spanish newspaper 'As'.

"What I need to do is win two world championships. Then I will be Nico.

"But, anyway, I am used to the pressure that my last name brings and that people expect big things from me."

Rosberg said he feels he is driving better in his second season of grand prix racing in 2007; a sentiment backed by experts and also by his performances alongside the formula one veteran Alex Wurz.

He explained: "I did not have the best possible relationship with Mark (Webber) last year, but with Alex we work closely together and we get along really well.

"It is actually hard to have any relationships at all in F1. In GP2 you can be friends with drivers from other teams but here you never see a driver from another team in someone else's motor home.

"And if you try to do it, you don't get a very friendly welcome."
